Not sure if that is potentially related to the game struggling loading the effects for the battle, but I thought I'd at least mention it. I can't recall if that was an issue on Windows already, but given my hardware I would expect it to load faster. Secrets of Grindea has also been accepted into the Steam Greenlight.
The game is currently in Early Access which lets you buy the game and play the Beta.

I also noticed the game taking about 2 full minutes to even load up. Secrets of Grindea is being developed by a small team that refer to themselves as the Pixel Ferrets. Only reference I could find was this from 2021, but they didn't seem to have filed a report: This essentially makes the entire fight unplayable.
